1989 Porsche 911 Description

Imported from the USA pretty well as you see it. Stock 3.2 engine, G50 transmission, body all steel as well as the flares and according to the builder the front flares were reshaped to RSR profile.Insulation, carpets, rear seats.door panelsetc all removed lightening the car significantly. Power mirrors, seats (factory leather), PW, PB and power sunroof. Heat exchangers in great condition. Fresh conversion 6 years ago and thesellers description at that time was: Fresh clutch, weltmeister chip, transmission resealed, RS style carpets and door cards, fiberglass hood, ducktail and bumpers, AC removed, new windshield and no rust ever. I repainted the rear flares this past year due to rock chips, bought a new stripe kit and had the wheels professionally painted. The engine was apart 4 years ago and about 10k in work done by a experienced local mechanic. Stock exhaust, Fuch factory wheels (7 and 9) media blasted and sealed to simulate the RSR style, period Cancun stereo. The sunroof mechanism was rebuilt last year. The 4 shocks replaced, purchased from Auto Atlanta as well as a suspension bushing kit last year. Prototipo wheel and the H4 light conversion. Rear tires (245/45/16)replaced 2 years ago, front 5 years ago.I have a clean car fax. I have owned several 911's over the years and this is a good one but it is a modified hot rod 911. I would describe the car as a great driver, raw kick butt feelthat makes you want to push it and test your driving skill, looks fantastic, sits right, has great mechanicals but is over 25 years old so it is not perfect. It needs a few things: sunroof seal bead, one power window switch will not stay in the panel (clasp is broken), I don't have the door keys which has not been a problem since it is garaged and never out of sight, small scratch on the front fender just behind the headlight (about 2 inches) caught it on my garage door, few small paint chips in the front and I am sure other things I am forgetting so ask.I am sure most of the older 911's listed have similar small issues so I am pointing these outso there are no surprises. It has never let me down, starts immediately every time and does not burn more than 1/4 to half liter of oil between changes which is normal. I don't have to sell, love the car, happy to keepit but retired andprefer an automatic.I have tried to describe this the best I can but if there is something specifically you want to know, want someone local to look at the car etc. I can accomodate. I have additional shots if required of the pan, trunk area etc. Factory undercoating still on the car. Front and rear coco mats.

One question was do the rear side quarter windows prop open like the early cars.....yes they do. You can see the scratch I referred to above on the front flare left side if you look closely at the photos.
