Restored, 1 Owner, Pristine Condition, Matching Numbers CoA, Collector Grade 1972 911T w/rare 4-speed transmission and external oil flapper.
This Gold Metallic 1972 911T lead a charmed life from the moment its original owner acquired it over 55 years ago. The little old lady who owned it (she wasn't old when she bought it) passed a few months ago from long-term illness, but she always kept the car in optimal condition and kept track of every receipt from new.
All original books, keys, tags, window sticker, dealer invoice, bill of sale and even the bank note are present. When she bought the car she decided to swap the Fuchs alloys for a radio, protective coating and a small refund. The transaction is documented on a separate dealer invoice.
The car had a windows-out repaint 32 years ago; documented in a number of pictures. Since then it has only been driven on special occasions as is shown on maintenance receipts covering 15K miles since 1985. Total mileage is documented at 155,400.
All body panels are original. The car has never been wrecked or had any rust. The 32 year-old paint shows very well with only a couple of small touched up dings. All seals and trim pieces are in excellent condition. The interior, carpet, gages, and door pockets and windows are all virtually perfect. Only the dash has the typical small crack between speaker grill and windshield.
The car has been fully serviced, polished and detailed. The headliner was replaced due to staining around all edges. The Ansa muffler with 4 pipes was also replaced with a new original. The engine and mechanical injection pump perform perfectly, and the rare 4-speed gearbox shifts smoothly.
