1968 Porsche 912 Description
This is a 1968 Porsche 912 in the rare Bahama Yellow. Car has a bit over 60,000 miles on it. It was a Florida car for over 49 years until it moved to Indiana last year.
Car is in good shape. It starts up well every time. Seats are comfortable, drive is extremely smooth, gears shift easily every time. Headliner has no tear, seats have no tears and seat belts are original to the car. Over $30,000 on receipts dating back over 40 years.
Car was in same spot in my garage for 4 months in winter and I counted about 6 oil drops so not very heavy . Engine sounds good when running. There are a few paint dips reflected in the pictures. Passenger side door has a few blemishes in paint but only noticeable from very close distance.
Entire floor boards have been replaced with thick metal floor boards. There was some rust issues under the car but it all has been replaced with new black metal and looks great. This is also reflected in pictures.
Car is a great daily driver . It has never given me any issues. I always use 92 octane and change oil frequently. All doors close tight and strong. Glass is all in great shape as well. Dash has been touched up with rubber after crack had formed but does not look very bad.
I chose not to replace turn signal covers, sun visors and little things that could make this car perfect. I like her as a daily driver and chose to keep her that way.
Engine compartment is clean and runs very well. Body is straight with a great color combination. Trunk is clean and original tool kit is included in sale along with original owners manual.
I have described the car as well as I could. Please let me know if there are any questions regarding the condition of the vehicle. Good luck bidding and I hope she can go to a great home.

They have been completely replaced with new Porsche floor boards and all rust from under carriage was removed where the previous floor boards were. Work was done by a reputable body shop and took over 3 weeks to complete. Picture will show where the new floor boards are in the 912. All seats were removed as well as carpet and replaced to original specs. It cost $3,000 to complete the work.
