This1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is a sunroof delete example finished in Marine Blue Metallic over black and was sold new at Japan’s official Porsche dealer Misuwa (now MIZWA). The car was imported to the US by the seller in January 2018 and now shows just 88,088 kilometers (54,735 miles). Factory options include front and rear spoilers. Power is provided by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 5-speed manual transmission, and an $8,000 engine service was completed around 4k kilometers ago. Modifications includeupdated fuel lines, a Sony head unit, an R134 air conditioning conversion, and a Momo Prototipo steering wheel. This Porsche is now being offered in California with a few Japanese service records and a clean South Dakota title in the seller’s name.
A factory paint code tag in the front trunk confirms that Marine Blue Metallic is the original color. After inspecting the vehicle, the seller states that the rear passenger-side quarter panel and front fenders have had paintwork performed. Exterior flaws include a few smaller scratches and a 2″ scratch in the front lower valence.
The car is equipped with both a front chin spoiler and a Carrera tail. The 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires. Each corner is shown in the photo gallery below. Note the side markers and altered rear light bar compared to US-spec cars.
The black interior features a Sony stereo head unit, a leather Momo Prototipo steering wheel, and an R134 A/C conversion.

Currently the odometer shows just88,088 kilometers (54,735 miles). The seller has added approximately 100 miles since importing the vehicle in January 2018.
The3.2-liter flat-six is mated to a G50 5-speed manual transmission and has reportedly been maintained in stock specifications aside from recently-updated fuel lines. An $8k engine service was completed around 4k kilometers ago and a Japanese invoice is included with the sale. A new crankshaft position sensor was installed in 2017. As shown above, the OEM engine sound deadening mat has been removed.
