1980 Porsche 928 Euro S Model Description

This is relisted to Non Paying eBayer "Impegrity" Please be aware of him.
Thank You for looking at my 1981 European Market Porsche 928 S. Ebay Software wont recognize a Euro Vin unless it is a 1980 or older, so be aware this is a 1981 Model Year Car.
I was very excited to come across an older 928 that was a very low mileage car in a good state of originality. This car was part of a collection that a gentleman had in Chicago. The owner parked the car in approximately 1992 and there it sat until a small dealer found the car and got it up for sale. I decided I wanted to further help with the mechanical restoration and also some cosmetics. I am car guy that wants to save cars!!! For 1981 in the European market the 928 S came with larger 16 inch by 8 inch wide wheels, in addition to the front and rear spoilers. This car was for the German market and has all dash illumination in German. It is really cool and adds a ton of character. This car did not come with a sunroof, so the headroom is increased for the taller occupants. It has a period correct Alpine Stereo with period correct matching amp under passenger seat. It also has period correct Blaupunkt Speakers that I refurbished. It has a functional AC, which blows cool, not Ice Cold. The AC does not appear to be leaking as it has stayed the same for over a year. Electric windows that all work and also central door locks. I cannot verify whether or not the engine is the original engine, but it does run fine with no smoke and it idles perfect. The car has the factory stock exhaust, which sounds wonderful. The car is a 3 speed automatic and drives and shifts as it should. It has cruise control, which I have not attempted to use. It has no cracks in the dash, which on almost all the old Porsches they have this problem. The leather seats in the front are original and while not perfect are in decent shape. They show use and wear and have been leather reconditioned to bring back some of the original softness. All leather products used were by "Leatherique", which is the highest line leather care and reconditioners and dyes used by Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini owners and others nationwide. The owners of "Leatherique" are Porsche 928 owners, so they know what to do with these interiors. The rest of the interior is in good shape and the exterior is also solid and looks very presentable and looks great from a short distance away with minor scratches and some slight blemishes. Up close the paint is presentable showing signs of age with some fine checkering or cracking mostly on the nose of the car. The maintenance that I have done on the car within the last year includes the following, I did it to either do the defererred maintenance or what I thought was needed and is as follows;
1. New Tires in the correct 225/50ZR16 size,2. New Spark Plugs,3. New Air Filter,4. All new drive belts, (Alternator, Power steering and AC and water pump Belts5. New Battery (Correct Size and type),6. New Fuel Filter,7. New Fuel Accumulator,8. New Fuel Screen in gas tank,9. New Cam Tower gasket and timing belt on the passenger side,10. Oil and Filter change,11. Transmission Fluid and Filter Change,12. Power Steering fluid Change13. Rear end Fluid Change with Motul Brand Gear Oil14. Alternator Professionally rebuilt,
Items that still need attention that I am aware of; Oil Pressure gauge is not working and the climate control system only works on a high fan setting.
The Vin is as follows as Ebay wont accept a European Vin

I believe that this is a great opportunity to pick up a great classic 928 at a very reasonable price. If you are looking at the listing you also know that 928's are going up in value and I expect the market to remain strong and prices to continue to go up on these iconic cars.
Beautiful car that is a great foundation and I believe an investment piece that is going up in value now and will continue to go up in value for a clean well kept car with low mileage.
I should note that I have alot of paperwork going back to the previous owner and what the dealer did prior to my purchase. Please remember there will be a gap between basically 1992 and 2016 until the car was discovered by the dealer, as it was in a garage out of the weather. It really is a solid and awesome car with the better looking wheels and spoilers in my opinion than the standard car
