BECAUSE LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING CAR!! The Classic Car Gallery 2316 Fairfield Ave Bridgeport, Ct 06605 203-446-3477 1980 Porsche 911 SC “Back-dated 911 RSR Hot Rod. Built by Renown West Coast Porsche Guru John Esposito, no expense spared, the finest on the market! VIN 91A0142097 The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this stunning back-dated Porsche 911 Hotrod. Photos do not do this car justice. Built by marque specialist John Esposito in North Hollywood, Ca, as a homage to the... long nose racing Porsche’s of the early 1970’s, and this goal was achieved in dramatic style. John and the owner crafted a plan to turn a standard 911sc into the amazing car you see before you. Starting with a clean 1980 Porsche 911sc, they stripped the car down to the bare metal and began the transformation. More than $100,000 was spent on the build. All work is documented with photos and invoices and includes, but is not limited to the following; Full Rotisserie Restoration Glass Out, Bare Metal Repaint Porsche “Stone Grey” with Orange Graphics Long Nose Conversion Custom Hood With Centered External Fuel Filler Custom Flared Steel Fenders All Trim Freshly Chromed Rebuilt Engine Rebuilt Transmission Fully Rebuilt Suspension New Bilstein Shocks 930 Tie Rod Kit Fully Rebuilt Brakes Custom Refinished Fuchs 930 Turbo Wheels (7x16 & 9x16) New Tires Custom Stainless Exhaust Updated Electrical System Modern Air-Conditioning New Full Leather Custom RS Style Seats with Seat Heaters & Lumbar Supports in BMW Classic Red Hides New Matching Leather Door Panels New Custom Carpets, Coco Mats and Black Headliner Back Dated Dashboard Momo Prototipo Steering Wheel Rennline Pedal Kit New Porsche OEM Seatbelts Custom Stereo System Less than 1000 miles on the build As can be seen, an open checkbook was used in the build of this car; it is gorgeous from every angle. John Esposito’s team used all of their expertise on the build of this car. The steel fender flares were custom made to spec, and professionally installed. The 3.0 liter fuel injected engine as well as the transmission were rebuilt, and all mechanical systems are new or restored to new condition. The interior is stunning, with the finest custom leathers used throughout and installed perfectly. The custom RS replica leather seats even have seat heaters and pneumatically adjustable lumbar support. In keeping with the vintage theme, the dashboard was back dated as well and a modern high end sound system was cleverly hidden. RS lightweight door panels were custom made in leather and as with the rest of the build, they are perfect. The underside of the car was finished using the same attention to detail as the topsides; the bottom of this car looks new! All new suspension bushings and shocks were used, as well as the correct Fuchs 930 Turbo 9” rear and 7” front wheels (costing $12,000). The wiring system has been updated with a new fuse box, headlight relays and new switches and components as needed. H4 headlights are installed to improve the night driving abilities of the car. The car benefits from the addition of new modern Air Conditioning system. A centrally mounted fuel filler system was installed to further enhance the race look of the car. Esposito’s team assembled and sorted the car as only a specialist of their calibre can do, and the results speak for themselves; this must be the finest backdated 911 hotrod on the market today. Bid with confidence, as the car needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner! Feel free to call 203-446-3477 or email if we can answer any of your questions.
