1987 Porsche 930/911 Turbo Cabriolet - Matching Numbers - Private Seller
1987 Porsche 930 Description
1987 Porsche 911/930 Turbo Cabriolet. I have had it about 5-6 years. Originally a California car. Has been garaged since moving to Indiana in 2000 by myself and one other owner. It was a slantnose conversion when I bought it and I had it restored to the original look.
1987 Turbo Cabriolet is not your everyday Porsche. They seldom show up for sale, and never in this condition.
In 2017 I had the engine rebuilt by Bob Farmer. Bob has been building air cooled Porsches for over 35 years and is nationally known. He built the engine into what he calls a mild performance unit. It has SC cams, B&B headers, High Performance head studs, performance fuel injectors, port & polished heads (a specialty of his), and much more (nothing exotic though). The engine tested 366 hp and 358 fp of torque on the dynometer. I have put about 1,000 miles on it since he finished, and it runs GREAT. Bob also went through the transmission, brakes, suspension, and about everything else that might need looked at. New A/C, new fan cooled oil cooler, carpet, and much more. Starts perfectly. Matching numbers for engine and transmission.
17 Inch wheels (3 piece I think), Michelin Pilot Sport 265/40 ZR17 on rear and 225/45 ZR17 on front. Less than 1,000 gentle miles on them. Box Rockers and rear brake vents. Tool pouch and tools. New battery. New windshield due to a rock hit right in drivers view. Indiana service paperwork, service manuals, dyno readings, operators handbook (2). Limited slip differential.
Available for inspection any time. No warranty. Pickup only. More photos available.
