1959 Porsche 356 Description

You are bidding on a beautiful 1959A, the last year for the A’s, and considered the best looking of all 356’S. It received a windows out restoration and repaint in the late 90’s with guards red exterior and tan interior/carpeting.During my ownership I have attended to a number of issues and upgraded items as necessary. For example, new gas tank,Koni red shocks, rubber pieces, gas on/off switch, front driving lights, LED rear tail lights, etc.The engine, not original, that was in the 356 has been replaced with a rebuilt Super 90 engine. Before installation, a new clutch, throw out bearing and flywheel were replaced. A newly rebuilt 022 distributor sourced from Bruce Smith in New York. Weber carbs received a cleaning and new gaskets. The Super 90 is a dream engine with lots of torque. The exhaust was a special stainless system built by Jim Constas. The rear deck lid was sent to GT Works in California to create an exact duplicate of a 356GT. All electrics work correctly having been professionally corrected. The C of A lists silver as original color. Floor pan is original with no rust. Battery box has evidence of prior repair. All 4 brake cylinders are newly installed. There are a few bubbles in the paint but are not detrimental to the car. You will be proud to own this beautiful 356. The 356 is titled in Florida but is located in Southern Connecticut.Buy Now......
