1980 Porsche 911 CARRERA Description

In addition to the paintwork, all new exterior body moldings, roof and door moldings, window, and exterior lens seals were installed, the lenses were polished, and new emblem. The car is equipped with a brand new front lip spoiler and retains its Euro side markers. A couple of years ago new struts were installed, flush all the brake fluid, and a four-wheel alignment. The original 16" Fusch Wheels were sanded down andnewly-painted to original colors. New 205/55 front and 245/50 rear MichelinPilot Sport A/S Plus tires. I am including the rear deck lid with whale tale spoiler is pictured in the gallery, and the car is being sold with the standard deck lid installed. Note that US-spec rear bumperettes have been installed along with a periscope-style third brake light.Other recent additions include a new alarm system, heated front seats, new gauge lighting, a rebuilt clock bySpeedometer Plus. Alpine stereo (CDE-164BT) bluetooth iPhone Siri activated system. Custom installation of mic (see picture). 100 watts per 4 channel amplifier (PDX-F4) and 240 watts Alpine front component speakers and 6x9 rear speakers. The speedometer has been converted to mph, and the odometer indicates 70,856 miles.The 3.2L flat-six is paired with a 915 transaxle was removed and rebuilt in 2006 by Competition Engineering of Lake Isabella at a cost of nearly $9k, including a new clutch system. Modern Auto Technology in Pasadena installed the engine and also redid some of the factory wiring.Additional servicing within the last few years included new engine belts, spark plugs and wires, transmission seals, a newsteering shaft support ring, air filter, Interstate battery with warranty, upgraded motor mount, fuel filter, cylinder head temperature sensor, a lighter engine compartment insulation mat, and custom made carpet floors.
