The car is in excellent condition. I just drove this car from South Carolina to Arizona nonstop except to rest at truck stops with no problems at all. You could use it as a weekend car or daily driver if you wanted. I got this car about two years ago. I found it from an older man who had it stored for many, many years without driving it and that's why it had such low miles and was in such good condition inside and out. Interior had no cracks in the dash like most do and looked new. The problem was it sat so long I had mechanical difficulties, but it was such a rare 944, with zero rust, I decided to make it mechanically perfect and spent a year rebuilding or replacing all the mechanical. I will never get back what the money I have into this car and the next buyer does not have to do anything to it except love it and drive it. I am selling the car, not because I want to, but because I am in a financial jam and need money, but I will not give the car away for dirt cheap.
One of the Best PORSCHE 944 around. Very rare year - 1985.5 European, "Gray Car." That means it was built for sale in Germany and they brought it to the USA between 1985 and 1896 when Porsche was upgrading the car between years. There are not many of this year around or maybe no others. I looked and can't find one. I was told that only a couple hundred we brought to the USA 33 tears ago. It has the engine and interior of 1986, but titled as 1985. RARE.
This is the 944 you want. It runs perfectly. This car is ready for a weekend car or you can drive it every day. I just drove it from South Carolina to AZ, no problem at all. All gears shift smoothly and second and third gear really thrive. The stainless exhaust makes it sound great, but not obnoxiously loud. A deep and throaty sound that's better than music. A joy to drive and other drivers give you the thumbs up all the time and want to look at the car at gas stations.
YES, THE MILEAGE IS CORRECT AND ORIGINAL AND THE TITLE IS CLEAN! I am only the third owner. It was bought new and then the man I bought it from got it a couple of years old and had it until I got it a couple of years ago.
RARE:Low miles 53,500 (I still drive it so they may go up a little)
VERY RARE Positraction. Cars built for the USA don't have this. Only cars built for the Euro market have it and both wheels spin when you peel out. (It's worth $ thousands $)
