An original 1987 Porsche 924S
I have owned this classic sports car for 21 yrs. It has never been abused and only driven in the seasonal weather.
-59k original miles
-Clear title in my name
-Original; with no modifications
-Manual transmission shifts flawlessly
-Starts, runs and drives wonderfully
-Exterior has minor nicks / chips that you would expect from a 30+ yr
old car
-Paint work is a 7/10
-Interior in good shape with no rip/tears on the upholstery
-Original Blauplunkt radio works w/some feedback (cassette does not)
-Large sunroof panel tilts as well as comes completely out (I have the
original bag it’s get stored in)
What does not work? - passenger window (have new motor) and A/C. Compressor works, just not blowing cold (I live in Buffalo NY, so never concerned me)
Wanting to be forthright I did want interested buyers to know that prior to my ownership the car was involved in an accident whereby the insurance company did not want to pay up and repair classifying it as "total loss". Please note; every state and insurer has guidelines for this and each are very different. The owner at the time loved the car and had it repaired. It was not a salvage vehicle nor was the title ever classified as such.
This is a properly maintained Porsche w/records going back to 1998 when I purchased it as well as records from the previous owner before myself. Additionally; I have the original owners manuals well as dealer brochures.
I'm a 50+ yr old guy who has thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm selling only because I have some other makes/models in mind I've never owned.
Thanks for the interest and happy to answer and questions you may have.
