Porsche. 911. 911S. Coupe. Original
1976 Porsche 911 Description
1976 911SOriginal Car. Original MilesOverseas buyers welcome
I just acquired this car in a real estate trade. This is what I have been told about the car.
Two owner car since new. First owner had it for about 8 years. He did extensive work done on the motor at about 40,000 miles.Lots of receipts.Second owner (a lady) had the car for the past 35 years.I sold her and her husband a piece of property in Idaho and I tookthis car in trade as partial payment.
Six things;1.Interior,2.Exterior,3.Mechanical,4. Title5.Shipping6. Contact
Interior, The interior is in great condition. The original dash has no cracks or warping. The only issue is the front seats need reupholstering. They are the original Porsche Vinyl seats and the Bolsteron the drivers side has split apart.Other than that the interior is all original and very nice.
Exterior, The car has no rust anywhere. Always a west coast car.The car has never had an accident, except.A few years ago someone ran around most of the car and scratched itwith a key while they were at a movie. Their are no dents in the carbut it needed a complete repaint. Unfortunately the paint shopdid not know that Porsche made the body in 1976 out of Galvanized steel.Galvanized steel needs a special treatment and it wasn't done this time.So the paint quality is not great up close. It's the correct original colorbut now makes it only a nice driver. There is also a paint crack on the driversdoor but no dent. (see photo)
Mechanical, This car runs great. shifts in all gears like a knifethrough butter. Stops on a dime and the clutch is nice. It drives soliddown the road. The A/C doesn't blow real cold but it has never had a recharge. It also needs the front and rear hood shocks to keep them open. They are very inexpensive on ebay and I'm told easy to replace.I don't know how to post a video on ebay (and I don't want to know)But if you call or text me I can text you a video of the motor running.
Title, It has a clear Idaho Title but the problem is that my name has beenwritten in the name of the new owner. California and Illinois require meto first register the car before I can sell it. I don't want to go through the hassleand about $3,000 expense of doing that. I'm not sure but maybe I canput my name and/or your name and it would work but I'm not sure.I can't guarantee it and it would be your responsibility. So pleasecheck your state requirements to see if all you need is a Title and a Bill-of-Salefrom me to you. I know it doesn't matter for export. All they need is theTitle and a Bill-of-sale.

Note, This is a No reserve auction. I was told that the car isworth between 35 to $40,000. I would sell it before the auctionends for $32,995 or a reasonable offer. So don't wait for the auctionto end before it's too late.(be advised, any sale wouldhave to be through ebay only)
