1976 Porsche 911 Description
You are viewing a 1976 Porsche 911S. It is finished in Sahara beige with tan interior. This is a rare non sunroof car and a rare paint color! Try to find another narrow body 911 in this combination. It is also a rust free southern California car having just made its way to Alabama less than one year ago. It has never been wrecked and still wears most of its original paint! It has benefited from a mechanical restoration/upgrade and now has 911SC running gear. Here are some details,

- Etc.
The paint and body are in excellent original condition. The car has never been wrecked, rusted, abused, etc. It was purchased new La Mesa Porsche-Audi and spent the vast majority of its life in sunny southern California. The car is super, super straight with no discernible dents, dings, etc. The paint still shines up very well especially considering that much of it is 40+ years old. The glass, trim, etc. are in very nice shape as well. It is very apparent that this car was always garaged and well cared for. The body lines and gaps are nice and uniform and the doors shut with that familiar Porsche ping sound. All of the original Porsche inspection stickers and trim tags are still present in their original locations. The interior is equally clean and tidy. Only the front seat cushions have had to be restored. The dash is especially nice! A Momo Legend steering wheel and Coco mats have been recently added. I believe I still have the original steering wheel. The Fuchs wheels were professionally powdercoated by the previous owner. They are supposed to be from an early Carrera. I have not checked the numbers to verify. The car looks very sharp and presentable and has a great stance. It is increasingly difficult to find an untouched narrow body 911 like this now.
Mechanically, the car is sound and strong. Please see the video of the car being driven recently in southern CA. It is a blast to drive! It starts up easily and runs perfectly. It pulls strong through all the gears and does not run hot, smoke, knock, etc. It holds perfect oil pressure too and all the gauges work as they should. The gearbox shifts very well with no synchro issues and the clutch is good as well. The brake and suspension upgrades make help make this car the driver's car that it is! It handles and stops very well indeed. The tires are like new and the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
