1990 Porsche 944 S2 Description

This 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is a true driver’s car with excellent balance and responsive steering on any surface. The naturally aspirated 944 S2 was re-designed for the 1989 model year with a 3.0 litre, 208 horsepower engine which made it the largest and fastest 4 cylinder engine in production by Porsche at the time.It has 207 lb-ft of torque, almost the equivalent of the turbo models without the low-end lag inherent in those cars. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts smoothly.The S2 was sold in only 2 years of production in 1991 and 1992 and were the rarest of 944 variants and are becoming very collectible.

This is a beautiful low mileage convertible example in exceptional condition with all mechanical and engine service complete and current.Recent maintenance includes: Timing Belt and Balance Shaft Belt at 59,000 miles, Thermostat, new water pump, all drive belts, rollers and tensioners replaced, new spark plugs and air filter, fresh oil change, coolant flush, New Koni front struts and rear shocks, hood lift shocks replaced. Fresh brakes front and rear. The exterior is straight and accident free.

The Michelin Pilot Sport tires are exceptional condition and the car drives amazing.All mechanical aspects of the interior work, power windows, adjustable driver’s seat, Cold AC.
