1973 PORSCHE 911 RSR TURBO TRIBUTE: --Light Blue metallic with Saddle Brown leather interior and Black dashboard, Black Berber carpeting with Coco mats, 3.3 liter Flat-Six cylinder Turbo engine, 4-speed manual transmission, Matching numbers, 29,000 miles (less than 200 miles since restoration/Tribute), Highly detailed RSR backdate built, Previously owned by Harris Snodgrass of well-known and respected Brumos Porsche, Exceptional throughout. Starting life as a 1980 930 Turbo Coupe, this 911 was superbly transformed into a ’73 RSR Tribute. Harris Snodgrass found the ongoing project and decided to purchase and ship the car to Florida to finish the incredible build all while keeping the essence of a 930 Turbo. The car was professionally stripped and repainted in its original shade of Light Blue metallic. Without disrupting the 930 body, many RSR upgrades were fitted including a stock hood extension (to long hood form), RSR front bumper and a ducktail wing. Snodgrass also installed Turbo rocker panels and rear window frames from a 1968 911 with window pop outs. The interior was tastefully upgraded using GT Classics seats wrapped in exquisite Italian Saddle Brown leather while keeping the dashboard wrapped in Black. Interior accessories fitted include full leather RS door panels, custom Turbo door sills, vintage wood shift knob, Berber carpeting with Coco mats, MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, Balsa custom fitted leather wrapped roll bar and REPA Italian 4-point harnesses along with stock seat belts. Utilizing the numbers matching 930 3.3 liter flat six-cylinder turbo, power has been increased to 345bhp. New headers and a custom exhaust system have been fitted. The original 4-speed manual gearbox has been completely rebuilt. This RSR Tribute currently sits on Fuch designed wheels with 15x9 up front and 15x11 at the rear. Recent servicing includes full fluids, rebuilt brake calipers, new wheel bearings and freshly repacked front bearings. This RSR Tribute is exceptional throughout. Built by true Porsche enthusiasts, this RSR is unique by adding the Turbo element, but exemplifies excellent touches both new and old. All in all, this creates a 911 experience that is fast, fun, reliable as well as a cost effective in today’s Porsche market.
