1976 Porsche 911 Description

1976 Porsche 911 RSRCar was built by Jim Hendrix of John James Racing. Jim initially built this as his personal race car and based on SCCA logs it was raced sporadically from 2005-2009. Jim later sold the car to a gentleman that wanted it to remain essentially a race car, but driveable on the street for cars and coffee events as well as some track day events. At this time, the race motor was removed and a single plug, built 3.2 with 46 IDA Webers was installed along with turn signals, wipers, and headlights. This second owner enjoyed the car until 8/2014 when it was sold to the principal of San Francisco Sports cars. It was owned personally by him until i bought it in early 2018. Between 2014 to today, the car has been meticulously maintained and continually upgraded along the way. Today the car is very reliable (and loud) and is ready to go. For some additional context as to how little this car has been driven; the hour meter shows 186 hours today. Based on that, over the last 16 years or so, it has been driven approximately 11-12 hours per year over 2 different motors.
