1980 Porsche 924 Turbo Project car/ Parts car No Reserve!
1980 Porsche 924 Turbo Description
I'm listing this for my brother as he has suffered a stroke and will never get around to rebuilding it. He bought the car used in 1989. Although he kept it registered until 1997, I don't believe he drove it after 1995. It has been stored in his garage for approximately 20 years. This car is being offered strictly as a project/parts car. Although the odometer shows 62,000, total miles are unknown. It does have a clear title. I put a borrowed battery in it along with a couple of gallons of fuel and some injector cleaner. It started right up and ran rough for about 5 minutes before smoothing right out. There was no smoke or strange noises. The engine appears to be intact and serviceable. There is no known body work or current damage other than the front spoiler having a bit of curb rash. The wheels are in very good condition. The only glass damage is a windshield crack. If purchased as a project car, the interior would need to be restored and the exterior would need painting. Other than the radio and the door speakers, the car appears to be complete. The vehicle is offered for sale as is, where is, in Federal Way, WA. Ideally, it would be purchased by someone local to the Seattle/Tacoma area as it should be trailered due to the unknown condition of the brakes, if nothing else.
