1969 Porsche Race Car - Jack Lewis Enterprise Build - Outstanding Track Car!
1969 Porsche 911 Description
Powertech Select Motorcars is thrilled to present this awesome early Porsche race car. Originally a 912, serial number 129021650, this car was built in the late 2000’s by the highly regarded Jack Lewis Enterprises in Norcross, GA. This is a dedicated race car and DOES NOT COME WITH A TITLE, it will be sold with a BILL OF SALE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT only.
It was built with a 2.2 liter 6 cylinder engine (#6112513) and drivetrain from a 1971 911 T. Some of the current features include high compression Wossner pistons, PMO carbs and Electromotive Ignition, a 3.2 L oil cooler and 1 5/8” custom headers with straight pipes. Leak down results from 4/25/16 are impressive at #1 = 3%, #2 = 4%, #3 = 3%, #4 = 3%, #5 = 3%, #6 = 2%.
This is a striking car, finished in “Lambo Orange” over black interior and comes with 15 x 7” and 8” black center Fuchs with polished lips. The wheels are in great condition with no curb rash or significant blemishes. Currently mounted on the wheels are BF Goodrich G-Force R1 tires.
Safety related items include a full roll cage, Fuelsafe fuel cell with level, window net and fire system with kill switch. The harnesses are valid through 2019.
Modifications to lighten the car include rear Lexan window (we have the original glass) and side windows, lightweight battery, fiberglass bumpers and rear deck lid. The car is estimated to weigh approximately 1,900 lbs.
We have significant records of the build and maintenance/upgrades from both Jack Lewis Enterprises and Powertech in Rockaway NJ, including an engine rebuild, transmission rebuild, AP Racing Clutch, etc. in December 2010 totaling $28,707. More recent services include replacing of 1st gear.
Other upgrades include 911 S alloy calipers (worth $$), Koni adjustable shocks, a race shifter, GT Limited Slip, a gorgeous Nardi Steering wheel, OMP HTE-R seats, and transponder.
Racing history of the car includes HSR Sebring in 2009, HSR Mitty and Savanah in 2010, HSR P13GP in 2012 and Mitty and Savannah in 2014.
Overall the car presents itself extremely well including the interior, engine bay and trunk with only a few blemishes to the paint/body, most notable pointed out in a few pictures.
It is fully ready to go and really needs nothing but a new driver.
PPI's welcome
