1965 Porsche 356 Description
Beautiful 1965 Porsche 356 SC
This piece of Porsche motoring history was purchased used in Atlanta Georgia from a Porsche dealer in 1971 and is reluctantly being sold.
A restoration was completed in 1996 by Jack Lewis (search Jack Lewis Enterprises on Facebook). During this restoration the car was painted in dolphin gray and the seats were covered blue leatherette (original color was black). The original carpet was replaced with authentic German square weave carpet.
The car was also fitted and upgraded with a 912 engine. Other repairs during the restoration include new brakes, installation of 3-point seatbelt, and a transmission service.
Since the restoration the car has been garaged and driven approximately 25,000 miles on nice Sundays.
There are extensive service records.

Condition: The mechanical condition of this Porsche 356 in very good and there are no know issues. The body does have some bumps and bruises. There is a small ding on the passenger side front fender and the paint is cracking on the nose of the driver’s side (see photos). Overall the exterior condition is good.
This is a great car ready to drive which needs no maintenance to get on the road, or a perfect candidate for a full restoration. If you are looking for a perfect numbers matching car this is NOT it.
