1971 Porsche 914 Description

You are bidding on a very well built 914 race car. Log book included. To many details to list.I just had the bottom end of the engine rebuilt. new bearings, polished crank, rings, chains and rampsand all new gaskets. The engine has a total of maybe3 hours( just completed a vintage race weekend with no issues)

The car was made Right Hand Drive (RHD) for road racing. Road racing tracks historically have circulated in a clockwise direction. That means more right hand turns than left hand turns. Being on the right side of the car makes the inside wheels carry more of the weight and the apex of the turns are much easier to hit. This is an unfair advantage.

Upgrades in the last 6 month:

Cable shifter installed on right side.

Fire suppression system (3 port)

OMP race seats with 6pt harness

fuel pump
