1986 Porsche 944 turbo Description

1986 Porsche 944 turbo, 51,747original miles, power windows, door locks, sunroof, Pioneer CD head unit, Ihave the original Blaupunkt Monterey radio, original floormats, sunroof bag and tool kit from the car. Deep dish 911 Fuchs wheels with Dunlop Z rated tires. The car does not have LSD rear. I also have original owners manuals, wheel locks and factorysunroof bag to the car as well as a decent fitted Wolf cloth car cover that goes with it.

I am the second owner of the vehicle and purchased it in 2004 from Prestige Motors in NJ. It was a new car trade in and Ihave thecertification for the mileage on the car when it was purchased, which was42,369.

The 60K mile service was performed by Lenny at European Auto Works in West New York, NJ at around 45K miles including:

All New timing belt, water pump, rollers, tensioners, all new drive belts, new Sachs clutch, new clutch slave cylinder, new brakes and rotors, new brake sensors, new reverse light sensor, new Interstate battery, new spark plugs, wires and distributor, new power steering lines and reservoir tan, new hood supports, new Fabspeed stainless steel cat bypass test pipe and exhaust.All parts are genuine German OEM replacement parts. The car also has the original Weltmeister performance chip kit and the Lindsey Boost Enhancer installed. I also still have thefactory computer chips and exhaust system both in excellent condition, that will also go with the car.

The car was last registered and inspected in 2012. The car is registered in Upstate NY where there is only safety and NO emission inspection requirements. I am not sure if it would pass an emissions inspection with the current exhaust system, however in most states classic cars do not require an emissions test.

I have rarely used the car in the past 5 years with the exception of a trip to Florida in 2011. I really just do not use the car anymorewhich is why I am selling it. In 2014, I used the car about 3-4 times a week from March until November,last year I used it 3 times.This year I took it to get gas and warm it up afew months ago andtoday I took it for a spin around the block before taking the pics.

The car does leak a littleoil when it sits over the winter and such, the sunroof motor works, but the sunroof does not go up and down evenly. You can get it to work if you fiddle with it. The A/C works great but needs to berecharged. The car has power locks but the drivers side door lock does not unlock with the key from the outside. The passenger side locks and unlocks both doors. The parking brake works but the button that you press to releasethe brake needs to be replaced. Everything else on the car works great. The clock works. No dash cracks.All dash gauges and trip meter work. Beautiful carpets and gorgeous leather with no rips cracks or tears. Excellent original shift knob and boot.When I bought it the car it had a few parking lot dings here and there, most noticeable under the rear wing.

The car was also tapped in a parking lot at one time. As a result, the passenger headlight was broken. It was replaced with another black 951 headlight and assembly. However, there is about a fist size dent in the header panel by the passenger headlight and the hood also has a small dent, which never bothered me enough to get refinished.I have tried to show the imperfection as best I can on the photos.
