1987 Renault Alliance DL Description

I bought this over the winter hoping for an easy project car, unfortunately my time and space has become limited so sadly it's time to sell it. The car is in very good cosmetic condition, the paint is probably not original but looks very good. A few very light, minor dings and dents on the sides, barely noticeable. There is a very light long crease/dent along the front of the hood, very hard to see in the pictures. The rear bumper is scuffed/scraped on the right corner. The interior is pretty amazing, original cloth fabric is in great condition & very clean. The engine runs well and the transmission shifts fine, the engine does have some oil leaks, pretty typical, none seem too serious.. The car passed Delaware inspection in January. The top functions properly, electric up/down...it may be original, there are a few small slits/holes in it that were repaired on the inside, may need further repair.....there is also a long tear on the inside fabric of the top above the window, this will also need repair as it does open to the outside. The cars has 2 tonneau covers, one I believe is original and the other the previous owner had custom made, this one covers the entire passenger compartment except the driver's seat. Please note the grommets along both sides of the car and the wide velcro strip on the top of the dash to affix this to which were added. The car has a full size whitewall spare. The tires on it are in good shape as are the original wheel covers. A few other issues: I think the car has an electrical short somewhere, the battery will not stay charged when sitting unless the disconnect key is removed.....this may be a short, bad battery or alternator. The A/C is working but not very cold. The aftermarket radio does not work most of the time. There is a small section of the oil separator hose missing. The side gaskets on the windows are in very bad shape and almost entirely missing on the drivers side, can't drive the car in rain due to this. The passenger side window does NOT roll down. No smoking sign and old cell phone holder affixed to pass. side dash. I believe this car was always garaged based on it's condition, I have had it covered but not garaged, I will include the cover if you want it. I'll also include a few manuals and a few spare parts.
