1957 Replica/Kit Makes Porsche 356 Outlaw Description

Purchased in 2016 from original owner, who had it professionally built in 1990 as a gift for his wife. It has been garaged since day one and never been driven in the rain. The original canvas top has never been installed but is part of this sale. The donor chassis (a 68 VW) has been shortened and lowered correctly. Disc brakes with new calipers and pads, excellent paint bright work perfect, clean undercarriage without rust, 1973 VW 1600 dual port engine with a IRS 3:88 with freeway flyer transmission shifts through the gears butter smooth. Engine was rebuilt in 1990 with the car build. This car draws crowd wherever it goes! The stance of this car is perfect for it's year and few people can tell it is a replica. New parts purchased and installed since 2017:Gas tank, 4 tires, brake calipers master cylinder, front and rear brake lines, battery, carburetor, electric fuel pump. A-1 competition exhaust, SVD distributor, plugs, plug wires, fuel pressure regulator and tail lighs.

This car comes with a custom tonneau cover, original canvas top and frame and custom fit car cover. The seats in the car are from a Fiero with speakers in the headrests (very cool) but I have the original 356 CMC seats should you wish to change to a more authentic look. This car is a strong runner now and can be enjoyed as it is, but with only a little time and $$$ it would be easy to take to a higher level. Sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied with a clear Tennessee title in hand. Might consider delivery up to 500 miles for expenses.
