1991 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit/Spur/Dawn Description

1991 Rolls RoyceSilver Spirit IILow Miles (47,000)
.
Exterior: There is no sign or history of collision damage, all the trim is in very good condition. The bumper impact strips and moldings are excellent. There is no sign of rust, the glass is crack free. There are no door dings or dents but there are a very few small rock chips also hairline cracks in the clear that do not show in the pictures but are visible on very close inspection. I have tried to take pictures as you can see in the closeups but they don't show. The paint is very shinny and looks to be original. The euro headlamps have no chips the rubber fillers are very good. The tires are about 70%, there is no corrosion on the alloy rims however one rear RR hubcap emblem is missing (but is sold on ebay for about 40.00).
Interior: The interior is very good as you would expect on a low mileage Rolls Royce. There are no cracks, the carpet is not stained and the leather headliner is excellent. The wood is in beautiful condition and this car has the upgrade wood panel door inserts. The radio is a high end Pioneer CD player, the power antenna works well. The trunk, like the interior is dove grey with white piping and is as clean as new. The tool kit and jack tools as well as the extras fluid containers are in place. For RollsRoyce'sexposed to the sun it is very common for the upper dash pad leather to to shrink and pull back around the defrost vents and corners, on this car there is no shrinking it is in excellent condition. This car has power heated memory seats with lumbar support.
Mechanical: The car drives as a Rolls Royce should, there are no warning lights on and the brakes work well. The engine and exhaust are quite, the lights work as they should as does the heat and air conditioning. The engine is very clean and does not leak. I believe this car would drive across the country without issue.
History: This car was originally sold in the southern US and later imported to Canada. It has spent its parked time in a climate controlled garage and has never seen snow. I purchased the car from a man who bought for his daughter but sadly she became ill and was not able to use it. The odometer on this car reads in miles.
Reason for selling: A couple of years ago I decided to downsize my collection but I did not plan on this car being part of the downsizing so kept it with a few others at my vacation home in a hotel garage on Vancouver Island. Recently the hotel changed ownership and I lost my extra parking. I don't want to sell it, I truly enjoy it every time I take it out, but I have no place to keep it. I have decide to offer it for sale one time, if it doesn't sell then that will be all the excuse I need to rent storage space and keep it.
US Buyers: I have shipped many cars to US buyer over the years and I'm familiar with shipping and documentation. I will help the purchaser ship and import the car (at the purchaser's expense). I can deliver the car from Victoria BC, where the car is now to Blaine Washington (if it helps) for a cost of 400.00. This Rolls Royce is subject to a minimal Duty when brought into the US of 2.5% on the purchase price. If you are not present when the car enters the US you will need to use a broker (I can arrange this) who will charge around 250.00 to do the paperwork. Because this car was originally sold in the US it has all the EPA and safety compliance labeling needed. I can arrange door to door shipping as well but this is time consuming and I will only get a price for the winning bidder. Some examples of shipping cost from Blaine Washington I have paid in the past are; Florida 1200, Kansas City MO 800, LA California 700. The paperwork you receive from the broker and US Customs will be what you need to title the car in your state.
Other Out of Country Buyers: Each country has its own regulations on importing vehicles please check with yours before bidding. I will ship the car to the Port of Vancouver for 200.00 or will arrange for it to be shipped to an eastern port at a price to be determined.
Canadian Buyers: I can arrange to ship this car to any point in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec or Nova Scotia. In most cases shipping will be by rail.
Over All: This is a lovely elegant car that make a quiet yet first class statement wherever you take it. It is reliable to the point that, outside of normal servicing I have never had to do a repair. Well looked after classic Rolls Royce cars make a great impression on their owners at a very modest cost. If your considering one then this may be the car for you.
Inspection: There are several garages in this area that are familiar with Rolls Royce cars and if you wish to have it inspected before the end of the auction please call me to make the arrangements. If there is an area of the car that you are particularly concerned with please ask me about it or request additional photos and I will do my best to accommodate you. Remember the car is being described through my eyes so please don't hesitate to ask anything about the car that may concern you. I can be contacted by phone at (250) 515-1110. An inspections must be done at the interested parties cost and before the end of the auction. If you are near Victoria please come and see the car in person, you won't be disappointed.
Feedback: If you have less than 10 feedback please send me an email or call after you have placed your bid. Don't bid if you have not "got all your ducks in a row" to complete the transaction.
Scammers and Thieves: Don't waste my time I have heard it all before.
Thank you for your interest... Good Luck
