Fully documented 2-owner example with just 47,700 actual miles! Virtually all original paint and interior leather! Remarkable history with all original delivery paperwork, factory MSO, service records, keys, tools, and more! Fully serviced brakes, suspension, air conditioning all completed in July 2019! Very interesting investment! Rolls Royce entered the post Silver Cloud era with a complete transition into more modern construction techniques that included unibody design with individual front and rear suspension assemblies. This did a number of things to... improve their cars. The bodies were stronger and more rigid, the suspension became fully independent for the first time, improved to disc braking, and the new body was not only shorter by 7"and narrower by 3.5", the interior cabin and rear luggage compartment were actually larger and more accommodating. Named the Silver Shadow, it would be produced from 1965 through 1976 and mark one of the most successful production vehicles for Rolls Royce with over 20,600 units produced! Offered here is an all original 1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow finished in factory applied Masons Black exterior over an interior draped in Red Connolly Hides! This example was special ordered by William Remmert of St. Louis, MO in about August 1966 with a priority to take delivery in London, England while enjoying a vacation in November of that same year. Ordered with power windows, electric power seats, smooth rubber floor mats, Blaupunkt New Yorker AM/FM radio with power antenna & rear seat speaker, outside rearview mirror, tinted glass, whitewall tires, and hazard warning system. Factory luxury features included a 172 horsepower 6.2L V8 engine, General Motors Turbo-Hydramatic transmission, air conditioning, hydropneumatic self-leveling front & rear suspension system, dual circuit braking system, Smiths instrumentation, beautiful burled walnut dash, door garnish moldings, and rear seat tray tables, rear foot wedges, and more. The original owners of this lovingly cared for Silver Shadow maintained possession through December 2002 before selling to the second St. Louis owner with just 41,434 miles on the odometer. This second owner would utilize this Shadow sparingly while in town between homes in Florida and Arizona. It would continue to be serviced annually on an as-needed basis, finding less use towards its later years. So, just this last month, it would receive a full comprehensive inspection and receive new rear Bilstein shocks with rebuilt leveling rams with new seals, new front brake pads, new engine oil/filter, new air intake supply hose, rebuilt carburetor with new diaphragm jet, engine air filter, fuel filter, lubricated all power windows, new driver side outside mirror, new valve cover gaskets, and evacuated & recharged the air conditioning system. All power features and creature comforts continue to function very well! The engine runs strong with the proper spirit of a low mileage example, with smooth transmission shifts, while the handling remains quite tight! According to service records provided, the brake accumulators were last replaced by the esteemed Rolls Royce service center Erwin Schwarz LTD in July 2000, the radiator re-cored with new upper & lower hoses in 2002 by Gravois Radiator, and the air conditioning professionally converted to R134 by Bentley/Rolls Royce of St. Louis in 2009. This wonderfully original example comes very well documented to include the factory certificate of origin, bill of sale with Rolls Royce cover letter, London registration receipt, warranty certificate, export/import paperwork, Rolls Royce delivery note, shipping receipt, and servicing records from new. It will also include the original owner's handbook, warranty booklet, radio instructions, workshop manuals, factory small tool kit, tire changing equipment in storage bag, storage car cover, and extra keys! Today, the mileage on the odometer reads only 47,717 miles, and represents a very unique opportunity to own a special Silver Shadow with all original characteristics!
