1938 Rolls Royce Park Ward Razor Edge Sports Saloon.
I acquired this car about 27 years ago when I was in the business of selling exotic cars.
When acquired, this car was so excellent mechanically, the body straight as an arrow, and just an outstanding sleek gangster type that I decided it was the car to keep.
Since the car was so nice mechanically and sound body, I decided to do only a cosmetic restoration of the car, which was only paint, chrome, and interior which was in 1989. I have since done nothing to the car but regular maintenance and enjoyed enjoying this fine automobile winning many best of shows and just riding around.
This is an owner driver sports sedan, not a large clunky limo or box type Rolls that are just not attractive. It has all the refinements, picnic tables, fitted tool trunk, one shot lubrication, separate wheel jacks for all four wheels, sunroof, walnut dash trimmed in silver, new tires, etc., etc,. There is a set of full wheel covers also that go with the car but not shown, have owners manual and some books.
The car drives lovely, excellent oil pressure, never overheats, runs absolutely superbly.
The chrome and paint after 27 years is still shiny as can be. There are of course some imperfections after all those years, but nothing major and the car is still stunning as can be.
When you look down the sides of this car, you won't see any waves in the doors etc., and everything fits nicely.
Won best of show in many events.
