This 1979 Saab 900 Turbo was sold new at Ed Wolf Shaker Saab of Cleveland, Ohio. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes Euro-spec headlights, a sport steering wheel, and an aftermarket stereo. The interior was recently refreshed and paint correction was performed in anticipation of the sale. This 900 Turbo is being offered with maintenance records, service manuals, period literature, a tool kit and jack, and a clean New Jersey title.Black paint is contrasted with red pin stripes, and close-up photos of the glass and trim are provided in the gallery along with several paint meter readings taken. The hood was repainted some time ago, the rest of the car retains its original paint from 1979.

Optional factory accessories includes a front air dam, fog lights, rear window louvers, a sunroof wind deflector, and side vent covers. Euro-spec headlights have been installed, and the removed units are included in the sale. 15×5.5” Inca wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P4000 tires. The interior was reupholstered in orange velour with red marbleized vinyl and matching carpets.Factory all-weather floormats line the foot wells, and a 3-gauge pod is mounted in the center console. An older Alpine cassette stereo replaces the factory radio, and the car is equipped with a power antenna, air-conditioning, and power steering.

A sport steering wheel with a Saab horn button has been installed, and the factory 3-spoke wheel accompanies the vehicle. Instrumentation includes a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and a 6-digit odometer that shows approximately 61k miles. The turbocharged 2.0L B201 inline-four was factory-rated at 143 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque when new. Maintenance records cover the installation of a replacement clutch kit less than 1k miles ago in 2009, as well as a new battery and speedometer cable in 2015.New spark plugs were installed and an oil change was performed last year.Additional photos of the underbody, suspension, rockers, and wheel wells are viewable in the gallery.Factory manuals are included in the sale, along with a set of service manuals, period literature, maintenance records, and a tool kit and jack.
