1988 Ford Mustang Saleen Description

I am selling my 1988 Saleen Mustang. It has a lot of modifications for road racing but is currently licensed for street use and sports a full interior. and a four point roll cage. It is registered with saleen 88-028. purchased brand new from Peyton Cramer ford in Torrance California. It currently has the speedline wheels, a 3" cowl fiberglass hoo, a GT wing and sports the factory ground effects.
The SUSPENSION
Maximum motorsports k member,control arms, tie rods, caster/camber plates, steering shaft,full length subframe connectors, strut tower brace and torque arm/panhard bar. Koni yellow DA struts in front and Koni yellow DA Shocks with maximum motorsports coil over kit on both front and back, Cobra r steering rack Auto power roll bar crow 4 point harness, fuel safe fuel cell Brembo 13" four piston front brakes, the rear disc brakes are the stock Saleen brakes. Maximum motorsports manual brake set up with adjustable pedal.
The Motor
Ford 5.8 351 Windsor block forged SCAT crank/rods CHP pistons. crower ca, AFR 185 heads 10.5 CR, fluid damper ballancer, billit flywheel, BBK full length headers, BBK h pipe and a Mac pro chamber cat back (no cats) Trick flow Track heat intake 30# injectors aeromotive fuel rails 90 mm throttle body 80 mm pro-m mass air meter, MSD billet distributor Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator and derale Electric fan. Edelbrock water pump, power steering cooler, engine oil cooler, Car is currently dyno tuned with an auto logic chip
The transmission
Modified T5 .*****. ******* built by Gforce racing with the 2.92 first,1.99 2nd 1.34 3rd 1.00 4th and 090 5th gear. If you don't know what a dog ring transmission is, look it up on YouTube. It is still sporting the 8.8 and 3.08 gears it was born with, the only mod done to the rear is the posi clutch mod adding a fiber disc. Has a fresh center force clutch 26 spline. a Ford motorsports aluminum drive shaft.
I have owned this car for Many years and it has been an endless source of entertainment and joy. Mainly used it as an open track fun car, it has eaten more than its share of Porsche's,BMW's, Corvettes and many more. The mix of the grunt of the 408 and the proper sports car suspension makes this thing a terror on the track
With the car comes a large book of receipts and instructions for almost all of the aftermarket parts installed on the car. A box of spare/extra parts and the Certificate of authenticity from Saleen.
