1970 Shelby GT500 Description

Excellent unrestored survivor. 40,000 original miles. 428 CJ engine 4 bbl Holley carb. 4 spd Toploader transmission 3.50 Traction Lok rear. This rare car is documented by Lois Eminger former employee of Ford Motor Company and when she retired she kept all the records of cars sold. Also have Marti Report documents. This car was sold new from Levittown Motors on Long Island and has stayed here till this day. Always garaged no rust car. Painted once back in 1979 due to some scratches. Owner at that time decided to paint it Whimbledon White. Original color is Pastel Gray. Which is very White in color. Original side stripes are original from new. They very carefullymasked off the stripes when new paint was applied. Can't hardly tell they were taped off.I would call this car a 10 footer. Paint shines but closer inspection shows it's age with some cracking. An honest overall condition from NADA Guide is number 3 which they list as average condition. Unrestored interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears anywhere. Dash pad, Seats, Rug, Headliner, Door panels all excellent. Car runs strong. It isn't often a survivor GT500 that doesn't need total restoration in my opinion comes along like this one. Priced according to condition. Buyer is responsible for shipping and vehicle pick up.
