Selling my dad's 1966 Shelby Cobra Superformance MKIII. He has had this car since 1996 and only has 3719 miles on it. Said to be one of the first 1k South African produced with vin 808. Has spent most of its life in storage and has been started often but rarely driven. The car is beautiful and packing a 460 Big Block and 4 speed manual transmission. Started with 427 but was upgraded with the 460 5 yrs ago with less than 900 miles on it.It is super fast and fun to drive. Motor was built by a very reputable performance shop here in Houston and dyno'ed at 560hp. The car is super clean with better then normal wear for its age. Paint is really nice, almost flawless but does have a small blemish on driver front fender (star in clear) almost impossible to see unless you are looking for it. A few small scratches in front of roll bar from seat belt removal. Comes with rain cover that covers the convertible.I think thats it. I plan on selling it alot less expensive then the other on ebay because the car needs to go because of another purchase. Wheels need a good polish and some motor bolts show signs of surface rust. A day of cleaning and the car would look new again. Has a new digital electric fan controller. Doesnt overheat and has all the performance option these cars came with including coilovers, disc brakes ect. The number decal is removable. I know im missing something but if you have any questions please feel free to call me 8324194931 -Robert
