1952 Studebaker Description

I am selling this 1952 Studebaker half ton short bed pickup for my buddy who has several other custom classics. The only reason he’s selling this is he’s in the process of building two more classics and needs the room for those. This truck was in perfect condition before it was restored. It was a small town company truck for the local fire department with a total of only 4800 original miles. Yes I do mean 4800 original miles!!! This truck has no rust repair or patch panels in the body or floors anywhere. It was in straight perfect shape before he restored it. The friend that I am selling this for owns his own body shop and has been doing body work for 40 + years. If you have any questions, please call/text him direct at 815-795-0645. In 2002, this truck had a frame off restoration. It is in perfect condition with no chips, scratches, rips, tears, etc. Paint is FLAWLESS!!!! Everything works as it should (lights, original gauges, etc.) He has only put a little over 1000 miles on this truck since the restoration in 2002 and it is just as nice underneath as the rest of the truck. This Studebaker truck, to this day, only has 6114 miles on it since it came off the assembly line back in 1952. Since the restoration, the truck has a 1969 350 LT1 motor with Corvette heads and cast iron exhaust manifolds hooked to dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, a 600 CFM Edelbrock carberator, aluminum intake, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, chrome air cleaner, power steering and manual brakes followed by a 350 automatic transmission hooked to a 9” Ford rear end with 373 posi traction and Moser axles. This truck comes with the old Dixie music horns like the Dukes of Hazzard. The wheels are all 15x8 rally wheels with Dunlop Qualifier tires in perfect condition. Additionally, a vac gauge, fuel pressure gauge, trans temperature gauge and a moon tac as well as a tilt steering wheel have been installed. This truck also has a hydraulic emergency brake. The interior truck bed is all custom built out of molded diamond plate steel along with a diamond plate toolbox. The bed has custom built-in 1987 Chevy taillights. This truck also has a custom front bumper as well as a custom painted scalloped front end with a custom painted tailgate. This truck would be a great cruiser, show truck, ice cream getter or just an everyday vehicle. It’s perfect for all occasions. There is not a rattle when cruising down the highway. It runs down the road perfect. It also comes with an am/fm cd player radio. This truck is also being sold locally so I have the right to remove this listing at any time. There is a $500 deposit within 24 hours of listing. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for shipment/cost. You are welcome to come and inspect the truck at any time, please call the number above. Good luck and happy bidding!!!
