1956 Studebaker Transtar Transtar Description

This is a 1956 1/2 ton long bed pick up. The bed is 8 Ft long The truck came from Las Vegas NV . Here is the story behind the truck. I sold a car that I delivered to Las Vegas I herd about the truck that was up for sale and made a bid on it and won .So I delivered the car and brought the truck back with me. It was restored 25 years ago by a Studebaker guy who spent the winters in Henderson NV . He went home and basted away 25 years ago and his wife paid the storage on it all the time. Until she based last year and the daughter lived in NJ and didn't need the truck .So I did the oil change and cleaned the tank and paint it before Iput it back in A battery and fresh gas It runs like it was just restored. Every thing works it shifts great engine sounds like it was just rebuilt. I did the brake and it runsand drives great But the tires has sat for 25 years and have very bad cracks and flat spots on them. I can drive it around town but not to fast because of the flat spots The paint was faded and I buffed it out and is in good shape . Not show but a good driver condition. Look at thepictures not any RUST to talk about Truck is solid and runs driver but still need Tires. I can do that for the winner if theywould like new tiresat cost.
