1953 Studebaker Champion Sedan Description

This beauty is a true survivor with only 52,251 original miles. Original motor, trans, body and paint in very good solid condition. Good tires and brakes, and the car starts right up with the clutch ignition system. 3 on the tree, shifts smooth and comfortable. Recent rear pinion service, new gas pedal, and full inspection completed at Kelly Moss Road and Race in Madison, WI.

This is the original paint, please note that it isn't flawless. I've noticed one body ding that I tried to show in the photos. A dentless repair should fix it easily.

The heater core is missing as shown in the photos. The drivers side high beam bulb needs replaced.

Notice that one side had the correct hub caps, while the other side fits, but is incorrect for the year and model.

Notice the tear on the drivers seat. Also the carpet in the front needs replaced. The rubber boot around the throttle cable is missing. The rear shocks have a slow sealing going on and will need to be replaced in the future. I've not founds any rust other than the light surface rust on the underside of the car (as shown in the photos)and I haven't found any patches either.
