This 1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk has been beautifully restored. It was a frame-off effort and it looks spectacular in every way! And it's equipped with the powerful 289 Cubic inch Studebaker V-8, 4 barrel carburetor, and 3 speed manual transmission with factory overdrive. It's been restored to a level rarely seen, with extremely high quality work throughout! . Beautifully finished in the dramatic black and white combination. . The paint and bodywork is of the highest quality. I love those tailfins, they fit the 1950's era perfectly. . Sporty and beautiful! . Dramatic styling in front accented by beautiful chrome plating. . More gorgeous chrome. Extremely high quality work! . Spectacular! . The interior is done in the proper embossed vinyl pattern, and it is fresh and beautiful. . The dashboard is a visual delight, with engine turned face all the way across - looks like a little bit like a Duesenberg from behind the wheel! . Another view of the dash, and the firewall insulation pad. It's a sign that the restoration was done nicely when the underdash area looks sharp and crisp like this. . Here's the close-up detail of the speedometer and the dash face - wow! And everything works, too! Lights, high beams, low beams, turn signals, tail and brake lights, instrument lights, horn, and wipers. The gauges all work and register proper operating levels. The heater and defroster fans work too. Good oil pressure, amp meter shows a charge, speedometer works, coolant temp is good. It's a great running car! . Another sign of an excellent restoration - nicely finished seat surround, and a beautiful step plate - note the stylized "S T U D E B A K E R" script on the top edge of the step plate. . Here's the driver's side. . The AM Radio works great . And so does the glovebox courtesy lamp! . Excellent rear seat, note the armrest with ashtray - because all the cool kids smoked in 1957! .
