1955 Studebaker President Description

This 1955 StudebakerPresidentState Coupe was purchased a year ago. I bought the car with intentions of restoring it and taking it to the next level. I am a plaintiff in a court case and lawyers are expensive, so I am selling this car out of my collection. .

The car comes with some extra parts as shown, the Studebaker production order (the cars birth certificate) which gives all the original options and colors of the car. It was originally coral and black. There is a box with dozens and dozens of invoices of work done to the car, totaling thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. My title says previously titled in New Mexico, not been a Wisconsin car it's whole life.

The trunk deck lid and hood needs some new springs on it, so they close properly. The car has blue interior ( I know why) instead of black, which would look way better. Prior owner chose blue for whatever reason, you can order a complete interior through Southeast Studebaker, seats, headliner, door cards, the whole works, they have package deals. Chrome is all there, but needs buffing, and re-chroming of parts. I know, those are 63 hubcaps, I did not have the 53-55 "look" caps, they did not come with car, so these are better than nothing. Good tires.

Overall the car starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops,a running project, power window on passenger side does not go up all the way.

If interested call evenings also. 920 527-1866. Shipping the vehicle is your responsibility and payment is preferred through a bank transfer, upon the sale, I can give you a phone number of my credit union/bank and a banker name, so your bank can make that happen with a transfer.
