To find one is rare, to find one restored is amazing, to find one that has been restored to this caliber is incredible! Most Studebaker trucks were used for the war efforts or for farming, so they were used up. This truck underwent a complete frame off restoration around 15 years ago. It has only clocked around 1,000 miles... since. It has been warehoused under a cover, only to be used for an occasional neighborhood parade. Exterior: Repainted Electric Currant Red Metallic, the color is breathtaking. The chrome is exceptional. No expense was spared on the chrome, as even the bed chains are chromed as well. No dings, dents or rust. New tinted glass, the passenger window is cracked, it can easily be replaced since it’s flat safety-glass. Truck bed has sprayed on bedliner that matches exterior color. Interior: Reupholstered in gray cloth pleats with matching door panels. Silver metallic painted steering wheel and dashboard, new carpet, pedals, chromed knobs. Keep cool with Vintage Air-Conditioning. Motor and Driveline: Factory 170 cubic-inch inline six has been rebuilt. Chromed air cleaner, hood springs and hood latch.
