1932 Studebaker Rockne Model 75 Description

1932 Rockne Model 75 Deluxe

Up for auction is this '32 Rockne 75 Deluxe sedan.
First and foremost, I would like to clealy state that in our opinion, this car needs a full, thorough, complete restoration. There is rust coming through the exterior paint, and the majority of the inner wood structure, if not all, needs to be replaced.
We have no intentions of misleading anyone. This is a project car, and it looks better in the photos than it really is.
Below the text are nearly 60 photos of the car from all angles, inside and out, top to bottom. Please look at all of the photos closely before bidding. If more photos are wanted, please do not hesitate to ask.
The Rockne was one of Studebaker's early efforts at a small "economy" car, and the 75 was the larger model of the Rockne line-up. Mechanically, the Model 75 shares most of its parts with the Studebaker Six Model 54.
I am listing this car on eBay on behalf ofmy employer. While all of us around the shop do have an extensive knowledge of Studebakers, we are not Rockne experts. If you have any questions, please ask and we will do our best to answer as accurately as we can.
This Rockne was purchased nearly 20 years ago by the current owner's late father. He wanted a nice Rockne to "round out" his Studebaker collection, and this car was bought sight-unseen from a gentleman in North Dakota. While the car was touted as being a nicely restored example, the reality is just the opposite.
Other restoration projects took priority, and the Rockne has mostly sat inside for the last two decades. It has not left the property since the day it was shipped in.
The current owner has been working to downsize the collection of cars that his father left behind, and the Rockne is next on the list to find a new home.
Over the last few weeks, we've made the effort to get the engine running and the car driveable. The fuel tank was cleaned and lined, the carb was cleaned and rebuilt, and the fuel pump was rebuilt. With those items done, the engine starts easily and seems to run fine. There is some valvetrain noise, but the oil pressure seems decent and the charging system is operable (at least according to the dash instruments). The mechanical brakes work, but not very well. None of the lights are operational.
We have only driven the car around the yard, just enough to say that it does currently run and drive. While we certainly wouldn't want to put the car on public roads without more extensive mechanical work, it can be driven onto the new owner's car trailer under its own power.
eBay will not let me embed a video, though you should be able to copy and paste this into your web browser to see the car running.

It should be noted that the frame mounted serial number plate is damaged, and the very last digit is not readable. The car does, however, have a clear Florida title in the owner's name with the full serial number listed. A very accurate reproduction serial plate is included with the sale.
