1963 Studebaker Hawk Description

Rare Studebaker GT Super Hawk.This Rare R-1 Super Hawk still has all original factory high performance components. It has original Jet Thrust engine that featured steel crank, solid lifter, big camshaft, 4 Barrel Carb, and all New dual exhaust. New Twin traction Dana 44 differential in the rear. First American car with disk brakes and finned rear drums were all part of this rare package.
Car has 63,000 miles, believed to be actual miles because of overhaul.

How rare is this one? According to the Studebaker museum in 1963 they built only 46 of the R1 Super Hawks, however, this is 1 of only 29 built with Warner 4 speed and correct hurst short shifter. It gets better, this is 1 of 1 equipped with the high performance package and shipped with green mist metal paint, which is in excellent condition! Chrome, Stainless Stainless Steel and interior are also in excellent condition.
