I discovered and acquired this car locally from the son of the original owner, hree years ago, nd added it to my personal vintage car collection. It has now been sitting inside my climate controlled collection garage that whole time. It was running good when I got it and I have not bothered to even try and start it in a long time, just don't have any free time to mess with old cars right now. I'm offering the car at no reserve, nd the high bid takes it. It comes with a clean Virginia title in the name of the original owner's son, howing serial number 10772. I find that number stamped on the frame in a spot I learned about from the Subaru 360 Club. According to the son of the original owner, he car never sat outside its whole life. The doors open and shut nice. I cannot find any rust underneath whatsoever. I do find a small area in the front hood jam where battery acid has eaten a spot, nd it could be easily repaired.
This is from the son of the original owner:
"My dad bought the Subaru in 1970. He kept it till mid 1980s and sold it to his best friend Gary. Gary had the car till 2010. When he got sick, e called me and asked me if I wanted it back. It sat in his garage with blankets covering it. At that time, bought it back. And now its time to let it go. (June 7, 013)
