1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4
1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 Base SB Description
For sale is my 1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 22R four cylinder 5-speed, this truck needed some work when I bought it with around 226000 now it has 256000 miles. Since then I have done nothing but care for the truck and use it as my daily driver and it has given me no problems. The things I have replaced or done since I've owned it are:-Windshield-New Tires, rotated every 6000 miles-Rebuilt carburetor-Rebuilt rear differential-Repainted exterior, Trim pieces, and some bed liner-Muffler-Thermostat-Water pump-U-Joint on front drive shaft-Front wheel bearings-New Carpet and floor mats-Spark plugs and wires-Distributor Cap-Valve adjustment-4 new shocks-Battery-Starter-Replaced all fluids when purchased-Oil change every 3000 miles-Fuel and air filters-Wipers-Greased all the joints every couple of months-Coolant hoses and changed every year-Upgraded Pioneer stereo W/ Bluetooth, USB, AUX-4 speakers, Alpine Amp and 10 inch Sub woofer-Viper Alarm-Window regulators-Tachometer-Tail-lights housings-Front-lights housings-Wired exterior lights and connected to interior switches-Front Brake pads (have new rear pads when needed)-Replaced door locks and ignition (unfortunately means two different keys) but at least you can't start it with anything that fits.Aside from those fixes the truck has ran perfectly! SOLD AS IS!Only thing is if it hasn't been driven in a while or on cold starts you have to pump the pedal and crank it over, let it rest and crank again. After it fires up it will fire up instantly every time.
The previous owners put a 3" BODY lift on the truck, different seats and installed the tube steps/bumpers and roll bar, I repainted them. Other than that the truck is stock. Also there is a dent on the drivers side that you can see in the photos from previous owners as well. I only took this truck off road once to make sure the new differential and U-joint worked properly but it was just a mostly flat dirt area. I have done nothing but drive this truck with care, doing all the small maintenance myself, and respect cause I wanted to keep it forever. Always parking it in the garage or in the shade. I love it dearly but things change and I need something more practical to commute as this was my commuter, driving on the freeways. This truck does have power steering though. The truck just passed SMOG and I have the papers and title in hand.On Oct-26-16 at 08:31:42 PDT, seller added the following information:For sale is my 1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 22R four cylinder 5-speed, I have done nothing but care for the truck and use it as my daily driver and it has given me no problems.
