1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 Description

Classic 1983 Toyota FJ60. Bought it as a project and have loved working on it. Over the last year I've had the head off and rebuilt with complete valve job. Also had the intake/exhaust manifolds machined, done a carb rebuild, new power steering pump, water pump, thermostat, had the radiator removed and cleaned, all new hoses installed. New a/c compressor and drier, new fuel pump, battery and cables, new wheel bearings, and inner axle seals. New brake hoses, front discs/rotors/pads, rear drums/shoes. New clutch, tie rods ends, wheels and tires. New dash cap, interior carpet, satellite stereo head unit with new speakers and amplifier.
This truck has been "de-smogged" and stock emissions components are no longer present. Keep this in mind if you live in a state with emissions inspection requirements.
Custom ABS door and interior panels as some original fabric was beyond repair. Headliner was removed as it was in very poor shape, I've lined the roof with sound deadening insulation but not installed a new liner yet. There are rust bubbles forming at the rear fenders which is typical for these trucks and should be dealt with fairly soon. Plenty of weekend projects left to do but many of the big ticket items have been done. I've driven this truck cross country over the past year and it's never let me down.
