1987 Toyota MR2 base Description

This 1987 base model MR2 has spent most of it's life garaged in Florida, has absolutely no rust. It has 95,000 well maintained miles, but only about 10,000 miles on a dealer rebuilt motor, and recently installed new brakes, muffler, clutch master and slave cylinders and battery. The previous owner stated that due to an oil leak the motor was damaged and was completely rebuilt by Toyota of Orlando in 2011 at a cost of $4,900. The dealer confirmed the rebuild at 85,000 miles with new pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, water pump, gaskets, seals and including a new timing belt.The air conditioning system is the original R-12 type, the compressor engages but is not blowing cold. There are two new Toyo tires in the front and two about half worn in the back. The wheels are the original optional ones. Has an upgraded radio with a 6-disc CD changer installed behind the passenger seat. This MR2 drives like a new car.
