1987 Toyota Pickup Description
If you know these trucks you know they are practically unstoppable off-road --and the way it's currently setup is ideal right down to the tires. While technically, I believe I'm the third owner, the person I bought it from late last year only owned it a short while He ran an off-road training school and was going to export it for one of his field courses but had a change of mind. He bought it from the original owner. The truck is from Connecticut and was clearly well cared for. It shows extremely well regardless of its age. It is tight, runs extremely well, and cruises down the road smoothly and quietly. It tracks true and stops perfectly. In fact, it's about as bare bones as you can get (see Window Sticker PDF as there are a couple of options).
Freshly reupholstered bench seat (vinyl+cloth very similar to the factory) & new carpet was installed too. Newly powder coated wheels. New shocks all around including the front stabilizer. It also has new leaf springs in the rear. It has a brand new aftermarket radio as well.
The person I bought it from had the chassis and underbody media cleaned and undercoated with a rock hard undercoating material. It is designed to clean off easily. This work was performed at an outfit that specializes in this somewhere in Rhode Island.
This Toyota 4x4 will serve its new owner extremely well with great utility and reliability for years to come. It's unmolested and ready to work and have fun.
There are a few places where there is some light surface rust on the chassis, a location on the drivers side bed (see photo) where the prior owner made a repair, and a smaller than dime sized paint chip on the front right fender just behind the marker light.
Please find a complete set of pictures and a video of the truck engine running here on my OneDrive:https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvTy52Yff8VRto9KWfP5iawXDy6gTg

In terms of crazy low offers and lowballing, I'd prefer it if you just saved the cycles and spared us both the back and forth. I don't know what this will sell for but generally I know the market is hot for these. This is a great example and it drives better than I remember them driving quite frankly.
