1980 Toyota SERA Description

This is one fantastic car. It is a 1990 Toyota Sera (had to list as a 1980 ) as df ebay doesn't recognize the Japanese vin)
Where to start? The Sera was never offered by Toyota in the US. It is a true JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) right hand drive beauty. These have been off everyone's radar until now.Big brother wouldn't let you have one unless it is 25 years old and the time is now. Many have never seen one before and those that do are astounded. The Sera is an iconic Toyota from the 1990's sadly when creativity will never beequaled Even the colorsymbolizesSera. Brochures, Toys promo items feature a beautiful Green machine like this. The majority have been imported to the UK and Canada as there is huge interest there. At this time only a handful in the US and collector interest is growing. For good reason. There is simply nothing like it on US soil until now.
Some cool Sera facts.Theunmistakable gull wing doors. No one but Toyota could build it right on a production car. Light to the touch to open. Designed to open and not hit the car parked next to it even in tight quarters. The hinges operate as new. No slop, wear or rattles unlike something made by other companies ( I'll be nice) if so theirs would be falling off by now!
Removable panels on the top to keep the sun out or in for a nearly 360 degree view of the sky. No other car is like it.The first Toyota vehicle toreceive projector headlights. Has power windows. Automatic temperature control. The Pioneer Carrozzerla head unit is also far advanced and is JDM as well. It is blue tooth only.
HistoryThis car was hand picked off the streets of Nagoya Japan then brought to the United States. It wasn't dumped through the auction mill like so many other Japanese vehicles. It was owned and loved. It has many authentic mild mods like G5 Speed Garage body kit. Custom lowered suspension. HKS cold air. TRD steering wheel, Razo shift knob. Strut bar and more. It has a rare custom roof spoiler. It is a clean original and only has a little over 72,000 miles (or to be exact 116729 Kilometers) There are other Sera's around but none like this.
It is fun and easy to drive. It has a 5E-FHE 4 cyl and is mechanically comparable with the Paseo and Corolla and other Toyota's. The trans is a 4 speed automatic. It gets up to speed quick and will run a comfortable 75 mph on the highway. Brand New Toyo Proxies and 15.8.5 JNC's give it stance
I have copy of the original Japan title and all shipping docs. I have clear Ohio title in hand and in my name. It is currently titled, licensed and insured in the state of Ohio. Nothing extra for you to do other then transfer from me to you like any other vehicle.
It is 25 years old and although very clean and original it has a few scratches and dings here and there. The rear spoiler is black and is faded. It should be considered as normal wear and tear. The front air dam has hit something and will need a minor repair but is solid as is and is typical of tuners. There is NO rust. A/C works as it should. Toyota quality that with even minimal upkeep will still last for years to come. As far as value, does one ever loose money on a Toyota? Selling as is and as seen.
