1992 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

listing my cruiser for sale as i am going to need the space for summer. It's originally from Texas, lived in PA then came to New York and has only been here from what i can tell a couple of years. i bought the truck because it is rust free. body / frame / tailgate / door sills. there is no real rust, this is the easiest FJ I've ever put a OME lift on. the hood / passenger fender and front bumper have been replaced which makes me suspect that this has been in some sort of fender bender but everything under the car looks straight as an arrow. you can only see the difference in paint on the two replaced panels in certain light. It can be a little leaky after running for a while and will leave a few drips of oil and power steering. a power steering seal kit is included in the sale. there is also some clicking from the front axles, ive had the passenger side cv joint replaced but have yet to have the drivers side done. a new cv joint replacement kit and seals are included in the sale. since it was a Texas truck the dashboard is badly cracked, i will provide pictures of that. ill try and list everything that ive done to the truck in my ownership of it.
  • all fresh fluids in the motor / transmission / transfer
  • 3" OME lift kit from Man-a-Fre with caster correction kit and new body to axle braided axle lines. 1" OME spacer in the front for anti stink bug.
  • interior lights have been converted to LED via PFRAN kit
  • new head unit with USB and bluetooth, no microphone for wireless calling though
  • all new speakers in dash - doors and rear sub.
  • all windows fixed/work, but slow in the cold weather, ive taken 3 of the motors apart and re-greased.
  • 33x10.5-15 inch BF Goodrich All terrain tires put on the truck 3k miles ago.
  • new clear running and turn signal lights
  • 2 225w LED foglights installed on the bumper with hidden switch installed in dash
  • full exterior paint decontamination and detail
  • CB radio in dash
  • all new spark plugs / wires / and coil pack

Some bad things about this truck are: the truck is high mileage - around 349,000 but has never failed me and starts every time. the ac doesnt work but the heat is great. it has the regular clunks of an old full time 4x4. it has the classic wear on the front seat bolsters - thought the second and third row seats look great. It does not have lockers. the windows all work but are a bit finicky. some get caught going up or down and need to be wiggled. but the truck is water tight when the windows are up
Over all this is really a clean truck, I've never wheeled it and it looks like it did just highway duty its whole life. This truck is for sale elsewhere and i reserve the right to end the auction early. I've really enjoyed rescuing and fixing this FJ80 and I'd love to see it go to a good home, that said this is a 25 year old truck and is sold AS IS with no assurances, guarantees, warranties or returns. the price is low and reflects the age and high mileage of the truck.
