The Bad:
Passenger seat won’t go forward or back – motor is good but mechanism seems to be bound up, and there’s also a tear in the front seat leather. (I’ve got seat covers).
Everything works as it should for a 23 year old Cruiser with 250,000 miles. It burns a little oil and probably leaks a little, too. Don’t park it inside on your mother’s white carpet. It also has a few spots that need to be cared for – the black coating on some of the exterior trim pieces around the windows has begun to crack; the headliner has a few marks on it; the carpet has a few spots that aren’t pristine, and the 3M wrap needs to be redone on the door handles and a few other small spots.
The Deal:
I’ve loved this thing but I’ve got two very small kids, and I don’t get to use it like it deserves to be used. This is an exceptional overland rig and has been taken care of. It truly is a beast and is built like a tank. There are over $15k just in upgrades, not including mechanical work that has been done and installation costs for all the goodies.I’ll consider all REASONABLE offers.Contact me with any questions.$1,000 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close. I'll take cash in person if you're willing totake a trip or are local; money order; or a certified check mailed by your financial institution. You're responsible for shipping or transport, but I'll work with you to makesure it gets done. This thing is sold as-is with no warranty or guarantee. I've donemy best to represent every part of it accurately in the photos and in the description, but I'm a little heart-broken at selling this thing, so forgive me if I forgot something.
