Clean 1991 Toyota MR2 with 122,900 miles. I bought the car in November 2009 with only 101,367 miles. I have used this car for pleasure only - no commuting - but lately I have been using it less and less - maybe 1K miles per year for the last 2 years. My time with the car has been trouble free. The only mishap I had with the car was a run-in with a deer a few years ago. The damage was minimal resulting in the hood being replaced (with a genuine Toyota body part). I have never driven the car in the snow and it is always garaged.
The car runs great. I had the oil changed every 5,000 miles with never a need for added oil between changes. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and air filter at 106.6K. I was told by the previous owner that the clutch was replaced around 95K miles.
No rust as far as I can tell. Seat's leather upholstery (replaced in 2011) is in new condition. Dash has no cracks. AC blows cold. Shift boot is coming loose. New rear tires 2 years ago (less than 2K miles ago), front tires at least 50%. I bought a new temporary spare last year to replace the original spare. All glass is good.
The only issue the car has is the battery will run down to the point it won't turn over fast enough to start the engine if the car sits for more than 2 to 3 weeks without use. But, if you drive it fairly regularly, you won't have a problem. I've kept a trickle charger on the battery once I no longer drove the car regularly so it would start reliably after months of sitting unused.
The car is located in Parsippany, NJ 07054
