1994 Toyota 4Runner
1994 Toyota 4Runner Description
I am selling my 1994 4Runner. I will say first off that this car is for a 4-wheel drive enthusiast that has time to put some work in. I am going to cut to the chase and list off the things that will need to be fixed.- Cracked front blinker lenses.- Hood is dented in the front along with the passenger side quarter panel.- Front seats need to be reupholstered.- Driver side door lock won't work with the key anymore (have to unlock vehicle via passenger side).- Their is connection problem somewhere with the rear window and it sometimes does not want to roll down.- There is some paint fading in between the windshield and the sun roof.- The anti-freeze is leaking somewhere and if overfilled to a certain point in the radiator or excess storage the anti-freeze will start burning up and produce a rancid smell that comes through the vents for a few minutes while driving, and while stopped the burning anti-freeze smokes up from the engine bay at times. I looked up these symptoms that the 4Runner is having and I found out that it is most likely a busted head gasket which is a common problem among this year of 4Runners.
As I said before this is a vehicle for someone who is looking to put some time into an otherwise great SUV. I have been driving this 4Runner for 8 years and in my most recent job I am driving 40 miles total each day and even with the problems under the hood this thing has never failed me once in 8 years. I recently tinted the windows and bought new tires as well as doing a full tune-up a year ago. The anti-freeze problem is fairly recent and I just don't have the time nor money to fix the problem otherwise I would keep it. If you have any other questions just message me.
