1980 Toyota Celica GT GTA Description

Offering this wonderful 1980 Toyota Celica GTA(Automatic) Liftback with 32,215 original miles. The car is NOT a Supra but is the same body style. I have sold several cars on Ebay - usually they look better in the pictures than in person but that is not the case with this car. When you look at the car it's hard to believe you're looking at a 37 year old car. The paint is original and still retains an excellent shine and the interior is immaculate - no rips, tears or noticeable fading on the original seats, headliner, carpet, etc. It still has the original toyota factory mats. The best thing is everything works - all lights, gauges, turn signals, odometer, speedometer. The AC blows cold and the heater works great. Original radio works but there is some static from the speakers. The car starts right up - it does take a few minutes to warm up but then idles smooth, runs, drives and stops very well with no issues. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I have driven the car 70 mph on the highway and it drives very smooth - no weird noises or rattles. Very Solid! - HISTORY OF THE CAR. The car essentially had one owner. The car was purchased in 1980 by the original owners who a few years ago traded in the car in to Yokum Toyota in Louisiana(you can pull up their site on google and check out their "inside pictures" and you will see this car in their showroom after clicking through several pictures). The guy I got the car from was the GM at Yokum Toyota at the time they took the car in trade. He is now retired and in California and when Yokum Toyota decided to take the car out of the showroom he had the car shipped to CA with intentions of keeping the car. He had it smogged, registered through Nov. 2018, installed brand new tires. It didn't quite work out as he had hoped due to parking rules in his community so that is how I was able to get the car.
