FJ40 1974 Toyota Landcruiser
1974 Toyota Land Cruiser Description
Bought it from the man that owned it since 1976 a few years ago. He spent $4500 on it before he parked it for over 5 years. He finally sold it to me about 4 years ago. I've put over $7K in it. I had it running about a year ago and lost interest in it. My son and I got into Harley's. It hasn't been run since. Will need the front turn signals wired up, a carb rebuild and a tie rod. Other than this, it's time for body work as far as I know. It has some rust and several smaller dents. Body work depends on what you want to do with it. I was going for a half decent hunting and around town vehicle and not a show vehicle, but that's up to you. When I had it running, I'm not talking about like a sewing machine because I'm no mechanic, but I drive it around the yard.
You can buy it and finish it, or it can sit in my shed. I think I'm asking a fair price and not trying to gouge anybody. Some pictures are when I got it, and some are after I spent money on it. 5 new tires and rims, front bumper, dash pad, shifter boots, all window rubber in the vehicle in boxes, mirrors in the boxes, and a few other goodies. Jump seats and roll bars are there also. I took the headliner out because it was in bad shape. Not sure about the mileage, it may have rolled over since it's over 40 years old, but it may be actual.
